As you know, our Fullscript API is a great feature to monetize all your download links on your website and turn them into Linkvertise posts. Straight forward, convenient, productive.
Of course, it’s no less important to choose the right settings to get the most out of your Fullscript API feature, that’s why we’ll walk you through how to set up your settings like a pro.
Still catching up? No shame in that - just hop over to our Fullscript API article first to get the basics down.
Blacklist or Whitelist?
You don’t want to monetize all the links on your website? No Problem! You can easily black- or whitelist certain links or pages so that only those are listed (Whitelist) or not listed (Blacklist).
Set access actions
We could save us all time and just say that Fullscript API settings aren’t different from the regular post’s settings. The only difference is that, for your Fullscript API, you’ll only need to set the access options - and that’s it.
We like to keep things simple and we figured you’d like the same. Here they are once again, in case you need a quick refresher:
Ads
Ads are always turned on, meaning every user will see one ad before unlocking your post.
Actions
We will add more network actions soon. As of right now, you can allow us to display 60 minutes of waiting time for some users. But here’s the deal: Direct access is always on, so if you keep waiting time active, most users won’t see it – only a few will actually have to wait.
However, this more revenue-oriented setup can boost your RPM and can help you earn more overall.
In case you don’t want your users to wait at all, you can de-select the waiting time. Just be aware that it might lower your RPM and potential revenue.
However you decide - our algorithm will make the best user-based decision on what action to display.
Remember: You set everything for everything
When you set the access options for your Full Script API, you're setting them for all your domains at once. That means every download link on your site will follow the same rules - so when users click, they’ll be sent to Linkvertise with the same setup to unlock their content.
Of course, you can change the settings at any time in your dashboard.
We hope you found this article helpful and informative. We wish you great success with Linkvertise!
