In order to create a Linkvertise post, you will be required to set details that describe your post and advertise it at the same time.
When creating a post, you have the option to either select the visibility option and list your post on our discovery platform for improved visibility or, alternatively, go for a quicker creation and leave it deactivated.

If you choose to activate visibility, you'll need to set a description. But what are the benefits of doing so? We can tell you – a lot!

Enable visibility to publish your post on our discovery platform

By enabling the visibility option for your post, you'll be able to publish your post on our discovery platform, meaning everybody on the platform can search for your post and discover it. If users search for keywords used in your title or description - you are required to set both when creating a post with visibility - they'll be able to find your post as long as it meets our guidelines.

What kind of content is allowed?

On Linkvertise, all kinds of content can become eligible to be published on our discovery platform. Gaming mods, scripts, templates, mangas or fictional adult artwork (compliant to our guidelines) and illustrations can be published after our team checked the eligibility. The visibility option can be a great boost to enhance your audience and make more people find your work.

If the option is deactivated, users need the Linkvertise-URL to find your post and open it.

How to write a brilliant description

It is important to know that the position within the search results is very relevant. The first three results get around 60% of all clicks for that specific search term.

Setting a proper title

The title is a very important element for ranking high within the Linkvertise search results. Firstly, it should include the search-term (main keyword). You should additionally ensure, that it sounds interesting and makes people want to click it.

If its clicked quite often compared to other “competitor” posts for your topic, you will be ranked before them. Furthermore, the rating for the specific posts is counted. Linkvertise Members can rate each post. That’s why you should make sure the title actually describes what users can expect. Otherwise, there will be a lot of dislikes and your post won’t show up in the top search results any more.

A superb description

The description is a little underrated, but a very relevant factor as well. We detect the context of your post within the description. This means we try to understand which other search terms your post might be useful for and it will show up there as well. Also it will provide further information to the visitors. It will build trust and people tend to click on your post instead of others. It’s worth being creative. Your description should contain of at least 100 characters.

Adding a visual representation

Approval process: What happens after creating a post

After creating a post with visibility enabled, our Content Moderation team will review your post including your description. In your dashboard, you'll see a little eye-icon indicating the current state of your post and whether it's been already reviewed and listed.

The icon colors indicate four states:

Orange: Our moderation team hasn't reviewed your post just yet. Don't worry, they will review it shortly.
Green: Good news! After positive review, your post has been listed on our discovery platform - users can now search for it and discover it.
Black: Visibility is disabled for your post, that's why it isn't listed. Change your mind? No problem, just go back and edit the respective post and activate the visibility option!
Red: The details you set or the type of content you wanted to share aren't compliant with our guidelines, that's why our moderator team disallowed your post to be listed on our discovery platform.

Our Guidelines

Title and Description

You are not allowed to promote illegal content and material that endorses illegal content
You are not allowed to use deceptive, obscene, defamatory, illegal or otherwise offensive language
Promoting pornographic content (real, animated or AI-generated) is forbidden
You are not allowed to use language indicating any form of abuse, harassment, violence, terrorism, racism, self harm or otherwise offensive content
Repetitive words or phrases are not allowed
Title and description must be clearly readable
Title and descriptions must be specific and non generic
It is not allowed to spam capital letters
It is forbidden to advertise misleading or incorrect content
Titles with URLs are not allowed. URLs are permitted in descriptions

Target Content

You can link to all kinds of creative content like gaming mods, scripts, web novels, animations, templates or fictional adult related content like artworks, mangas, illustrations or images as long as they are compliant with our guidelines
You are not allowed to link non significant content like “google.com” only
You are not allowed to link to actual sexual acts or interactions, sexually suggestive posing and movement is allowed, as long as there is no sexual interaction
It is forbidden to link illegal content
It is forbidden to share shocking content
The target has to be the expected content. It can not lead to other monetizing solution, password protection or text files with further link-chains

Videos, Image & Thumbnails

Videos and Images have to be related to the target content and description
Adult related artwork or images are allowed as long as there is no sexual interaction and intimate bodyparts are covered
You can not show previews of illegal content (drugs, etc.) or violence
You are not allowed to show copyright infringing content
